She practiced both obstetrics and gynecology for two years before partnering with Dr. Delahanty to start a gynecology only medical practice. This decision came from frustration with how ob/gyn was practiced.

“So much time and energy is devoted to delivering babies and gynecology care really takes a low priority.I went into ob/gyn because of my love for gynecology. Therefore this was an easy decision,” said Dr. Fryman.

Dr. Fryman and Delahanty started Gynecology Associates of North Georgia in 2006 and have built a reputation for being caring and comprehensive.

According to Dr. Fryman, solving womens’ complex gynecological issues is what makes her job so exciting: “It is not unusual to see a patient that has been struggling for many years with a symptom and therefore has seen multiple doctors. Most of the time the answer is obtained just by listening to the patient.”

Dr. Fryman has a particular interest in menopause and vulvar disease. She also is a very skilled minimally invasive surgeon. Practicing gynecology without obstetrics has allowed Dr Fryman to fully develop her surgical skills and keep her volume of surgery at a level to maintain her proficiency.

She is currently developing several medical products that will help with pain that a woman may have with intercourse. She is very passionate that gynecological conditions not dictate a woman’s life.

Dr. Fryman is married to a Blackhawk Pilot in the United States Army and they have two girls, ages 15 and 8. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
